I Need a Good Belly Laugh

Okay- I'm in a bit of a funk. Ever since the Interim Pastor came, I have been feeling superfluous. I feel like I have started a new job and don't know what to do. I don't want to do too much and step on her toes, but I don't want to back-off and do too little. I wonder if anyone out there has had the experience of being an Associate Pastor and having to adjust to a new Head of Staff? I could use some tips, especially since I'm still trying to be part-time.

I don't know about the laughter portion, but I do know that I'm experiencing a similar work situation. Feel free to e-mail me (address in my bio).
The best thing for me that I did was to sit down with our interim and say, "I've never done this before -- how can we make this work for both of us?" which led to an open conversation. However, this is her first interim, too, so we're both in the same place as far as not feeling like we know what to do.

Hmmmm, not sure why it didn't work when you went, but it's pink shoes 76 at hotmail dot com without the spaces and as you would expect an email to be.

Hope you're well and that you've had a good laugh or two in the meantime
