I don't really have anything to say, but I wanted to get that creepy inflatable Jesus off the top of my page!
Today is my birthday, though I don't really feel like celebrating. I feel like sleeping. Actually, I really want to be away from it all, hiking in my favorite Wyoming mountain range- here:

Maybe I'll leave you a voice mail... but I don't want to wake you up.

I'm so glad you were born!

Belated wishes from here. And, a nap sounds like a wonderful way to spend a birthday. I hope you were able to do that.

Ah, the Winds. We'll be driving over South Pass to go to presbytery in a few weeks. Last time we did that in September there was a foot of new snow on top.

Happy belated birthday! Hope you had a grand celebration!

I had my first trip through the Wind Rivers last year when we drove through on the way to a presybtery meeting. Beautiful.

Here's our Labor Day weather: So far this morning it's been dark gray, high winds, pouring rain & hail, and now it's snowing (but not sticking). And I am stubbornly sitting here in capris and sandals.
